Pete is why the PFDs are not optional, even on mornings that look like glass. He took the first-aid course twice because he did not like the first instructor. He keeps a throw bag where he can reach it without thinking.
He also takes most of the pictures. If a report looks like we were all handsome and lucky, thank Pete’s timing and a little luck.
He hosted the June gathering. He likes a big camp if it still has a safety talk before the first boat leaves the beach.
